but if I look at the list and find myself focusing on what I don’t want and I say “not for seven days” isnt my subconscious mind going to ignore the not and curse me for 7 days?

like 1-2 years ago my mom keeps sayin shes sick and ill her bones hurt and stuf like dat and im like everytime you say that something els starts hurting i told her stop thinking thinkin that ur ill or sick i drove her 2 doctors all of dem say shes perfectly fine and she actualy took my advice now she started a garden in our back yard shes doin all the things dat she wanted and im 17 now and now i know if you think it can be done.. i couldnt belive dat i was right i was like 15 at da time

Sash, because when you think or use a negative word, negative WORLD in the mind is like sand pond pulls the mind into million other negatives, I dont want to smoke..the word smoke is an order SMOKE..DO it..mind understands this way, and when you use negative words it links to the mind and memories of negative happenings..where you didnt succeed and then comes all the negative why not to do what you need and want..instead say i have healthy lungs..i can run and not get tired i hve a beter stamina

well yeah of course its true. We dont spend time thinking of our thoughts. If we did then maybe we’d find even greater solutions to the problems in our life. I think this would work for people who suffer from anxiety, but for those people whose thoughts are more often negative then positive, wouldn’t it be more than difficult to get across to them this method. Social problems, history of abuse, and or struggle to be a norm/popular or whatever make up these thoughts arent they thoughts themselves

with this technique can u use it on another person’s free will? for example i would keep saying to my self i want him to stop smoking.will that work on him or will it only work on things that i personally want my self to have.
